GLOBO has been selected as National Champion in the prestigious European Business 2012/13 Awards.
Globo has been selected as one of Europe’s most dynamic businesses, actively demonstrating the core principles of the European Business Awards: Success, Innovation and Ethics.
Globo as National Champion will be reassessed by a third panel of judges made up of Europe-wide business leaders, academics and entrepreneurs who will award the top organisations with Ruban d’Honneur status. The Ruban d’Honneur recipients will be honoured and the names of the overall winners will be revealed at a Gala awards ceremony in April 2013.
European Business Awards is widely recognised as the showcase for Europe’s most dynamic companies and top organizations shining a light on the most innovative businesses on the continent by promoting success, innovation and ethics in the European business community.

AIM Awards look at how companies and individuals harness AIM to power their growth and fulfill their strategy. They attract over 1,300 guests including representatives from AIM quoted companies and their advisers, ranging from NOMADS and brokers to accountants, lawyers and public and investor relations firms, making it the largest AIM gathering in the City calendar.
The ceremony took place on 11th October 2012, at Old Billingsgate Market, London.

Costis Papadimitrakopoulos has been shortlisted in the category of Chief Executive Officer of the Year, by “Grant Thornton Awards 2012”
Bringing a wealth of features to cope with a range of very stringent performance criteria, Costis Papadimitrakopoulos has been shortlisted as Chief Executive Officer of the Year. This category selects the professional chief executive who managed to make a significant impact on sales, profits, earnings, share price and been at the helm of turnaround situations, that identifiably improved the performance and position of the company.
